Case Study: Blue Dawn Botanicals

We began working with Blue Dawn Botanicals in 2022 with her social media and creating/managing her Google My Business. Through the last year and a half, we began working on her Blue Dawn website and providing consulting advice. In the beginning of 2024, we began working with her on email campaigns and establishing a subscriber base with monthly newsletters and monthly campaigns focusing on products and sales.

The Company

Hydroponics, CBD, and Garden Supply Company in Bloomington, Indiana. Family owned and operated. We plan on making a great impact in the community. They encourage young people to start growing their own food. They offer workshops to teach you how to use our products and keep food grown locally.

Google My Business

Blue Dawn Botanicals website has an excellent interface we helped set up. It’s Google Business Profile gets you right there with this optimization. It has all its company information, such as location, hours, the phone number, and prices. There are professional photos with its founder Molly Messmer, tabs that will take you to services and consultations, and many of the thumbnails are animated. This website is top notch.

Social Media

Blue Dawn’s Instagram account shows Molly’s abovementioned information and has beautiful photos of her products. Whether presently available or coming soon, you can click the portals and see everything you need to about them. It also has several inspiring quotes and pearls of wisdom showcasing Molly’s mission. Blue Dawn is also on Facebook.

YouTube

All of Molly’s information about Blue Dawn Botanicals is advertised on her YouTube channel just like other social media. In addition, there are videos for seasons, holidays, and informative short videos showing how to properly apply certain products. Presently there are eight short videos, and twelve regular videos, all well-produced.

Video Production

We at Lambert Consulting produced all Blue Dawn Botanical’s videography. We captured the video, edited the footage for the desired effect, and published it in the right places. We scheduled meetings once a month where Christina Parker worked with the owner on capturing “in the process” videos and photography. We published these videos on all social platforms and managed her YouTube account. We also created videos for a promotional campaign. One great example would be Mother’s Day.
