5 Creative Social Media Marketing Strategies

Published on October 10, 2022

Marketing requires creativity, especially on social media. Here are 5 creative strategies to help you.

Partner with Another Brand

You might have the opportunity to partner with another brand that has a similar target audience. This can be a great way to increase your exposure across the best social media platforms. The goal is to choose a company that is not a direct competitor. Their audience, though, may also benefit from your products or services. By working together to host a social media contest, both companies can benefit from exposure in new markets.

Keywords

People tend to get attracted to keywords like “Free,” “offers”, “discount,” “giveaways,” and “sale.” If you incorporate these words appropriately in your posts, they can easily tempt your audience and bring you more sales opportunities. Although, make sure the content on your social media matches that of your website. Such promotional offers usually work best during holidays and other big events. While these keywords can supercharge your sales, be careful not to overdo it. Also, you might feel aligning your content strategies according to the holidays and events is overwhelming. Use social media posting tools to simplify your task.

Engage Comments

One major form of engagement is comments. Posts that receive more comments are often displayed more prominently within social media feeds and within discovery pages like Instagram’s Explore page. To encourage members of your target audience to engage with your content in meaningful ways, have a social media monitor who is ready to react to user comments at a moment’s notice. The faster you react to the comments, the more likely it is that other users will engage with your content as well.

Facebook

Running Facebook Ads is commonplace for social media marketing now. Oftentimes, however, running these ads straight to products can make them stick out. Running ads to content can make them feel more “native” to the Facebook platform.

Sweepstakes

Because sweepstakes are so easy to enter, it’s simple to get people interested in your products. Make sure your prize is a product related to your brand. You can connect with non-winners in the future with the purpose of turning them into sales. Add a “Like this page” popup box to your contest as well, to ensure contest entrants become connected with your brand.
